Lance is PUSH511's August CrossFit Member of the Month!
Lance has been a regular face in PUSH511's group CrossFit and Bootcamp classes! Our coaches agreed that Lance was long overdue for a Member of the Month nomination:
It's always fun to have Lance in class, even if he isn't actually having fun. He's consistent and works hard, and is great at coming up with excuses to avoid the assault bike!
Lance is always so fun to have in class, or take class with. He's got such a great “show up to workout” attitude - but he never shows up without an iced cold Dunkin coffee.
When did you start CrossFit? I started CrossFit in 2019, right before the pandemic. I started back up with PUSH in 21' or 22'.

Tell us something we don't know about you! I hate bright spot Fridays.
How has CrossFit affected your life outside of the gym? It helps me continue to fit in the suits I already have so I don't have to keep buying new ones. It also helps check my ego, which is useful in all areas of my life.
What do you enjoy most about PUSH? I like the open and accepting environment. It's a real community.
What tips would you offer someone who is just getting started with working out? Set manageable goals, commit to those goals (even if it requires sacrifice in other areas of life), and compare yourself to yourself last month, not people fitter than you.
