I was totally inspired by him throughout his training for the PUSH Olympics competition. We are lucky to have Dennis as part of PUSH511!!

I am so proud of how far he has come - it’s certainly a testament of his hard work and dedication!

Favorite Movement: Sit-ups, Pull-ups, Toes to Bar, Rope Climbs, Running, Deadlift, Power Cleans 

Least Favorite Movement: Overhead Squats, Double-unders, Burpees

Story: Wow this is a big surprise! To pick me for the first PUSH member of the month out of all the amazing people at PUSH I am truly honored. I joined PUSH about 7 months ago and have met some wonderful people and have made some great friends. I look forward to every workout and the camaraderie that we all share. Also, I cannot say enough about the owners, Ardyth and Anne-Marie, and all the coaches. They are all very patient, knowledgeable, helpful and will work with you until you are comfortable with every movement.  I feel I have come so far in the last seven months – thanks to our great community at PUSH. I look forward to my continuing journey at CrossFit.

Tell us a little bit about you and your family: I was born and raised in Baltimore, like watching the Ravens, spending time with my family, my girlfriend, and friends, try to eat healthy, I have 2 kids my son 23 and my daughter 18 we love to spend time together going to the movies, out to eat, vacationing together.  

 

 

Occupation: Bookbinder for The Government Printing Office 

 

 

Hobbies/Interests: Love workouts at PUSH511,Water skiing, Running, Pretty much like any type of physical activity.

Tell us something we don’t know about you: I was a pole vaulter in high school

 

 

What were your thoughts after you completed your first CrossFit workout:Holy Shit this kicked my Ass! My first workout was Fran during Benchmark week! And I loved every minute of it!! 

 

 

What is your fitness background: Played baseball and football as a kid, track team in high school, working out at home and different gyms over the years.

 

 

What’s your favorite part of CrossFit:  I love the people at PUSH, very friendly and helpful, and can’t wait to get there each day to work hard and sweat with all my friends, and cheer each other on to complete the workout.   

 

 

Favorite Cheat Meal:  Anything Chocolate :)
