Anyone new to CrossFit, or looking for a refresher, should register for Foundations.  We offer Group Foundations & Private Foundations.

Group Foundations - $200: Includes 9, One (1) - Hour Sessions over 3 weeks at 6:30 pm on Monday/Tuesday/Thursday, limited to 12 people/Class.  Register online before coming in.  You can start on any Monday.  In addition to the 9 Foundation Classes you also have access to Sunday Yoga and All Open Gym Sessions.

Private Foundations - $249: Includes 4, one-on-one sessions followed by 5 Group CrossFit/511Endurance/Yoga classes.

This is a great way to get familiar with the movements and the community before jumping into regular classes.

Nutrition is a key focus in Foundations, you will start with a 1-on-1 session including intro to Nutrition package, Goal Setting, Body Measurements plus an InBody composition scan


1-Hour Group Classes led by a CrossFit Trained Coach designed to develop you from the inside out, from the core to extremity by training you in Gymnastics, Olympic/Power Weightlifting and short high intensity cardiovascular Sessions.  Power Hour with your new sweaty CrossFit peeps with high five's all around at the end!

1-Hour Group Classes that are cardio - core based.  Great for people training for marathons, triathlons and obstacle races.  Emphasis is on endurance training with a combination of body weight exercise, strength training, and functional movement. Learn mobility tips and tricks to enhance recovery and keep you up and running.

We are located in historic Brewers Hill within the Natty Boh Complex, just east of Canton in downtown Baltimore, MD.  

If walking, the entrance is from Dillon Street as described below or from O'Donnell Street. From O'Donnell Street walk up the stairs directly across from the Hanover Brewers Hill apartment complex.  The gym will be on your left.

If driving, the entrance is from Dillon Street, use 3850 Dillon Street in your GPS device to locate us.  Turn right after the National Brewing Co. bridge into the parking lot. The gym will be on your right. Free street parking is available at all times along Dillon and other side streets.  The parking lot in front of the box can only be used before 8:30 am and after 4:30 pm on weekdays and anytime on weekends.


What about your facilities?

We have roughly 8,000 sf with 4,500 sf of main gym space with tons of fans and windows plus an additional 3,444 sf (The Beast Cave) where we hold Foundation Classes plus area for strength training, platforms, jerk boxes.  Our men’s and women’s bathrooms each have two showers.  We do not provide towels but we do have soap and shampoo. We have a water fountain with a bottle filler and we provide plastic cups, we just ask that you wash them out in our kitchen sink before you go.  We have cubby holes to stash your stuff while you get your sweat on.  Tear your hands on that last pull-up we’ve got you covered with band-aids in our first aid kit.  We also sell tape if you need it.  


Our facility is heated and cooled by mother nature so dress for the temperature. Bathrooms do have heat & AC.  Layers are advised in the winter as we are not afraid to go for a run in February.  Bring a water bottle to fill in our water fountain.  If you’re a sweat ball, bring a small towel.  Last bring your sense of humor and adventurous spirit.  Guaranteed good times.


All our coaches started as members within our community.  We have a wide range of age with multiple years of experience.  All our coaches are certified in CPR/First Aid. We believe in ongoing learning from multiple sources both within and outside the CrossFit community.  We preach form and technique over weight and speed.  We practice mobility and functional fitness above all else.  For detailed information on our coaches please visit our coaches page.

Our number one priority is the community.  We want PUSH to be your second family.  PUSH has been open since Nov. 2010, the oldest CrossFit box in Baltimore!  We provide the support you need to embark on this crazy journey called FITNESS. We continue that support with coaches that care about you becoming functionally fit, more mobile, stronger and better at life.  Competing is fun and motivating.  There is a time for competing  but first we build a strong foundation by teaching you the correct form, technique and mobility. We are masters of scaling when needed.  Our mantra "DO MORE - SUCK LESS - LIVE BETTER". We are proud of our diversity, we have firebreathers next to new moms, all having fun, building confidence and improving.

  • CrossFit is a program developed to offer a full-body workout by combining strength training, explosive plyometrics, speed training, Olympic and power-style weightlifting, bodyweight exercises, gymnastics, and endurance exercise.
  • By doing this, CrossFit targets the major components of physical fitness: cardiorespiratory fitness, stamina, muscular strength and endurance, flexibility, power, speed, agility, balance, coordination, and accuracy.
  • Training the CrossFit way requires you to work out 3 to 5 days per week. The workouts are highly intense and short, taking anywhere from 5 to 40 minutes to complete.
  • CrossFit workouts typically combine explosive exercises done in a circuit format: One exercise follows right after the next, with very little (or no)  rest in between.  
  • CrossFit exercises involve the whole body and include pushing, pulling, running, rowing, and squatting.
  • The exercise equipment consists of barbells, bumper-plated Olympic weights, plyometric boxes, medicine balls, dumbbells, and kettlebells. Pull-up bars, climbing ropes, gymnastics rings hang from the ceiling. The only cardio equipment you will see are rowing machines. If you want to run, hit the road of the surrounding area. The workouts are completed in a group setting. Everyone does the same WOD (workout of the day).
  • Athletes and ex-athletes will enjoy the challenges of each WOD, as they are similar to sports conditioning.
  • There are a large number of WOD routines and they are always changing. This adds to the excitement of each CrossFit workout and decreases the risk of becoming bored.  


Our programming is done with everyone in mind, from advanced athletes to beginners. We weightlift, run, row or jump rope almost every day either in warm-ups or workouts. We perform body weight/gymnastic movements almost every day.  We stretch following our workouts.  

We chose to do our own CrossFit programming rather than follow CrossFit Main Page because we want to build a foundation of the basic weightlifting, gymnastic and metabolic movements while being able to prep our members a few days in advance of a new skill.  But that's not to say you won't see some common favorite main page workouts, Girls & Heroes - we love 'em!

Our programming includes a group warm-up to review the skills necessary for the workout and to mobilize the areas that will be taxed that day.  The programming takes the basic core elements and mixes in variables of time, weight, reps, and type of exercise performed.  

Whether you are a beginner or an advanced athlete, every day you will be pushed to perform to the best of YOUR ability with technique and safety as your focus.
