You must Register online for a Session before coming in. You can start on any Monday. In addition to the 9 Foundation Classes you also have access to Sunday Yoga and All Open Gym Sessions.
Dates and times are set and cannot be changed or substituted. If you miss a class we will work with you to review the skills during an Open Gym Session or by attending the missed class in the next cycle or in a private session.
The Foundation Classes follow the same layout as our main CrossFit classes but with more emphasis on instruction of the basic movements. The cost is $100. This is a great way to get familiar with the movements and the community before jumping into regular classes.

All our coaches started as members within our community. We have a wide range of age and experience from Level 2 CrossFit trainers to Doctors of Physical Therapy. All our coaches are certified in CPR/First Aid. We believe in ongoing learning from multiple sources both within and outside the CrossFit community. We preach form and technique over weight and speed. We practice mobility and functional fitness above all else. For detailed information on our coaches please visit our coaches page.
Our programming is done with everyone in mind, from advanced athletes to beginners. We weightlift 3-5 days a week. We run, row or jump rope almost every day either in warm-ups or workouts. We perform body weight/gymnastic movements almost every day. We stretch every single day following our workouts.
We chose to do our own programming rather than follow CrossFit Main Page because we want to build a foundation of the basic weightlifting, gymnastic and metabolic movements while being able to prep our members a few days in advance of a new skill. But that's not to say you won't see some common favorite main page workouts, Girls & Heroes - we love 'em!
Our programming includes a group warm-up to review the skills necessary for the workout and to mobilize the areas that will be taxed that day. The programming takes the basic core elements and mixes in variables of time, weight, reps, and type of exercise performed.
Whether you are a beginner or an advanced athlete, every day you will be pushed to perform to the best of YOUR ability with technique and safety as your focus.
Be on time. If you are between 5-10 minutes late there is a 30 burpee penalty. This is to get you warmed up quickly and to allow you to jump in with the rest of the class.
If you are more than 10 minutes late you can either wait until the next class or pick from these three pre-selected workouts, 150 wallballs, 2000 meter row or 100 burpees.
Introduce yourself, cheer for others, clean up when you’re done. Have fun.
Every class is one hour long, we ask that you arrive on time or a few minutes early to get settled in and warmed up.
The first five minutes of the class is your own time to get warmed-up. We have a posted warm-up that includes 2 minutes of cardio, followed by dynamic stretches and standard skills. At five minutes into the hour the coach will call the class together and explain the workout. The coach will demonstrate all movements and the PUSH511 standards. There will be instruction if needed with PVC pipe, barbell, etc. Most days there will either be mobility, skill work or strength work for about 15 minutes. Examples would be foam rollers/bands, tabata pistols or a 5 rep max back squat. After that, time is given to set up for the workout, warm-up to the WOD weight and form review. Once everyone is ready it’s 3...2...1… GO Time. Workouts average 20 minutes but can be anywhere from 5 (those are the worst) to 40 minutes.
Once the workout is completed everyone is asked to put everything away and clean up their area. The coach then leads the group in 5-10 minutes of stretching and cool down.
High fives all around and the hour is complete.
